House Hill

The house hill has been constructed to the approved dune height of 10.8m AHD, and this elevation provides extensive 360 degree ocean and rural views. This would be the most spectacular house site on the east coast of Australia! Ocean views extend north to East Ballina, south to Evans Head and as far as the eye can see to the horizon to the east. Wildlife and Wildlife Ponds

Two of the three approved wildlife ponds have been constructed. Fill was extracted from the northern wildlife pond, and was used to construct the Council owned Moylans Lane access road from the cane pad to the property boundary.  The fill extracted from the wildlife pond to the west of the house hill was used to backfill the water tanks, as it had some clay content which was not suitable for the house hill. There are four other natural waterholes on the property which bring in the wildlife.

The king parrots arrive for two months in mid-winter and can be heard chattering in the banksia trees, and many wallabies can be seen throughout the property. The vegetation supports an extensive variety of wildlife from giant 1.5m long goannas and land mullet, to white bellied sea eagles and whistling kites.


The two large sheds have been constructed and provide the catchment for the water storage tanks.
